Notice from the City of Shizuoka
- Hospitals open at night and on holidays are for emergency patients.Whenever possible, visit a nearby clinic during weekday daytime hours.
- If you need to go to a hospital at night or on a holiday, please check the links in the table below. Hospitals open at different times, so please be aware.You can also confirm which hospitals are currently open by calling the following number: ☎0570-000-692 (Available 24/7, call charges apply).
- Please bring your health insurance card when visiting a hospital.When you have a health insurance card, the amount you pay at hospitals is reduced. Without a health insurance card, you will need to pay the full amount yourself. In Japan, you pay for medical services after receiving treatment.
- If you are currently taking medication, bring your "Medication Handbook" (お薬手帳) or your medication.
- If you have a "Medical Beneficiary Certificate" (医療受給者証), please bring it to the hospital.
